G & K AUTOMOTIVE CONVERSION, INC. provides conversion services for vehicles imported from overseas. G & K offers modification services for vehicles, motorcycles, ATV's etc to meet DOT and EPA requirements for individuals and manufacturers. Every car that is manufactured outside the United States and is imported into the United States needs to be modified to meet U.S. DOT and EPA federal standards. We can make all necessary arrangements to clear vehicles through customs, and transport it to our facility to start the conversion process. Our services include the following:

CHECK AND VERIFY
Once you have a vehicle in mind that you would like to import, we can check and make sure it is a car that can be modified, not all cars can be imported and modified.

SHIPPING SERVICE
G & K can refer you to a broker or shipping company that you can contact in order to set up the shipment of your vehicle. Vehicles can be shipped in a container by ocean or on an airplane by air.

DOCUMENT PREPARATION
There is a series of documents that are required in order to clear a car through customs. Please see our customs page for details.

CLEARING THROUGH CUSTOMS
We use different customs house brokers to clear a car through customs.

TRANPORT TO OUR FACILITY
We can arrange for transportation of your vehicle from the arrival destinations such as the port of Long Beach, Port Hueneme, and Los Angeles International Airport, any other arrival destinations would have to be pre-arranged.

DOT COMPLIANCE
We will perform all necessary modifications to your vehicle and obtain DOT approval.

EPA COMPLIANCE
We will perform all necessary modification to your vehicle and obtain EPA final admission approval.
